Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) and the visiting Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS), saw Hancock's basketball squad wallop Long Beach by a tally of 59-23.

With the victory, Hancock improves its record to 23-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to West Harrison (Gulfport, MS) to confront the Hurricanes in a 6A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 12-10.

Next up, the Bearcats confront the George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) in a 6A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Long Beach will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record.
