Harpeth Indians (Kingston Springs, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hickman County Bulldogs (Centerville, TN), 47-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Harpeth upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Indians travel to East Hickman County (Lyles, TN) to clash with the Eagles in a 2A District 11 bout on Monday, January 29. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-6. East Hickman County lost 56-51 in their recent league bout against Cheatham County Central (Ashland City, TN)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Cheatham County Central Cubs (Ashland City, TN) in a 2A District 11 bout, on Monday, January 29. Hickman County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 19-2 record after their 56-51 league win over East Hickman County (Lyles, TN).
