Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA), 54-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Huskies travel to Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA) to clash with the Lions in a SEI - North bout on Saturday, January 27. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 16-1. Lone Tree won 50-30 in their recent league bout against Pekin (Packwood, IA)

Next up, the Indians clash with the WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Wapello will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA).
