The Hillsboro Burros basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Hunters Lane Warriors to 4 in the Burros league victory on Friday.
The Burros now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Overton for a 4A District 11 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Hillsboro will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 54-39 league loss to Cane Ridge (Nashville, TN). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-11.
The Warriors (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against McGavock (Nashville, TN). The Raiders come into the 4A District 11 contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, McGavock triumphed over Antioch (Antioch, TN), 38-15, in a league contest.
