The Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ), 63-55 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hornets (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 11-3 record.

The Panthers now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Ranney for a Shore B - Coastal test on Tuesday, January 30.
