Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT), 74-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Holy Cross upgrades its record to 15-0 on the season. The Crusaders travel to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 12-1. St. Paul Catholic won 72-67 in their recent league bout against Seymour (Seymour, CT)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Naugatuck will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 37-32 league loss to Wolcott (Wolcott, CT).
