Colorado High School Basketball - Horizon nips Monarch

Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO), 61-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Horizon upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO) to play the SaberCats in a 6A Front Range bout on Friday, February 2. The SaberCats go into the bout with a record of 10-7.
Next up, the Coyotes play the Broomfield Eagles (Broomfield, CO) in a 6A Front Range bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Monarch will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 55-45 league win over Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO).
