Texas High School Basketball - Independence ripped by Memorial

The Memorial Warriors basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Independence Knights to 14 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 21-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lebanon Trail for a 5A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Memorial will battle a Trail Blazers team coming off a 71-20 league loss to Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 4-23.
The Knights (1-23) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Titans enter the 5A Region II District 10 contest with a 1-28 record. In their last contest, Centennial was routed by Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX), 56-16, in a league contest.
