With the victory, Ishpeming improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Hematites travel to Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI) to play the Mountaineers in a Mid-Peninsula challenge on Monday, January 29. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Iron Mountain lost 57-32 in their recent league challenge against Negaunee (Negaunee, MI)

Next up, the Patriots play the Houghton Gremlins (Houghton, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Westwood will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Gremlins come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 65-44 non-league win over Kingsford (Kingsford, MI).
