Fans at Friday's league challenge between the McDermitt Bulldogs (McDermitt, NV) and the host Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV), saw McDermitt's basketball squad wallop Jackpot by a count of 58-14.

With the victory, McDermitt upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Wells (Wells, NV) to play the Leopards in a 1A East challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Wells lost 52-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Wendover (Wendover, UT)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV) in a 1A East challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Jackpot will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Vandals come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 58-27 league win over Owyhee (Owyhee, NV).
