The Jackson County Panthers basketball team (Jefferson, GA), was overwhelmed 62-35 in Friday's league battle with the visiting North Forsyth Raiders (Cumming, GA)
The Raiders now possess a 21-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shiloh for a AAAAAA Region 8 battle on Saturday, January 27. North Forsyth will battle a Generals team coming off a 46-41 league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Generals record now stands at 6-15.
The Panthers (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Longhorns come into the AAAAAA Region 8 battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Lanier was overwhelmed by North Forsyth (Cumming, GA), 63-18, in a league battle.
