The Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Louisville, GA) basketball knocked off the host John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA), 49-37 in Friday's league test.

The Jaguars (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Edmund Burke Academy went down by Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA), 68-39, in a league test.

The Rebels now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host St. George's for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. John Hancock Academy will encounter a squad coming off a 60-20 non-league loss to Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The record now stands at 7-7.
