Georgia High School Basketball - Pinecrest Academy thwarts Johnson Ferry Christian Academy

The Pinecrest Academy Paladins (Cumming, GA) basketball knocked off the host Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints (Marietta, GA), 46-35 in Friday's league test.
The Paladins (7-6) will now prepare for their test against The King's Academy (Woodstock, GA). The Knights go into the GAPPS - I-AA Region 2A test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, The King's Academy notched a victory over The Grace Christian Academy (Powder Springs, GA), 56-6, in a non-league test.
The Saints now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Furtah Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 43-35 non-league loss to Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-7.
