The J.R. Tucker Tigers basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Thomas Jefferson Vikings to 21 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clover Hill for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. J.R. Tucker will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 40-8 league win over Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-10.
The Vikings (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles enter the Colonial contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Godwin was routed by Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA), 44-42, in a league contest.
