The Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Ortonville Trojans to 31 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Renville County West for a A Section 3 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Lac qui Parle Valley will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 59-52 league loss to Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-14.

The Trojans (0-18) will now prepare for their contest against Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Central Minnesota Christian ran past MACCRAY (Clara City, MN), 63-25, in a league contest.
