LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA), 46-18 in a league bout.

With the win, LaGrange upgrades its record to 4-11 on the season. The Grangers host Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to play the Lions in a AAAA Region 4 bout on Saturday, January 27. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Trinity Christian lost 56-48 in their recent league bout against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Whitewater will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 73-47 league loss to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA).
