The Lakeshore Lancers basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting St. Joseph Bears to 21 in the Lancers league victory on Friday.

The Lancers now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mattawan for a Southwestern Michigan - West contest on Thursday, February 1. Lakeshore will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 53-43 non-league loss to Grandville (Grandville, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-5.

With the defeat, St. Joseph moves to 2-8 on the year. The Bears host Niles (Niles, MI) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 30. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 1-11. Niles won 54-45 in their recent league match against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI)
