The Lakeview Lakers basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Renville County West Jaguars to 52 in the Lakers league triumph on Friday.
The Lakers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ortonville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30.
The Jaguars (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Eagles enter the A Section 3 contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Lac qui Parle Valley nudged Ortonville (Ortonville, MN), 48-31, in a non-league contest.
