Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN), 68-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lakeville South upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Eastview (Apple Valley, MN) to play the Lightning in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Lightning come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Eastview lost 65-49 in their recent league bout against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN)

Next up, the Sabers play the St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Shakopee will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
