Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lewis County Panthers (Hohenwald, TN), 76-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Loretto upgrades its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Summertown (Summertown, TN) to play the Eagles in a 2A District 10 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 18-5. Summertown won 51-49 in their recent non-league bout against Moore County (Lynchburg, TN)

Next up, the Panthers play the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TN) in a 2A District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Lewis County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
