California High School Basketball - Los Amigos knocked off by Loara

The Loara Saxons basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Los Amigos Lobos to 35 in the Saxons league triumph on Friday.

The Saxons now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santiago for a Garden Grove contest on Tuesday, January 30. Loara will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 42-36 league win over La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-16.

The Lobos (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA). The Matadors enter the Garden Grove contest with a 1-22 record. In their last contest, Bolsa Grande was defeated by Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA), 44-30, in a league contest.
