Iowa High School Basketball - Pekin knocked off by Lone Tree

The Lone Tree Lions basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Pekin Panthers to 30 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a SEI - North contest on Saturday, January 27. Lone Tree will meet a Huskies team coming off a 54-22 league win over Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 12-4.
The Panthers (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Davis County was defeated by Albia (Albia, IA), 54-39, in a league contest.
