Georgia High School Basketball - Luella thwarted by Stockbridge

The Luella Lions basketball team (Luella, GA), dropped 64-44 in Friday's league battle with the host Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA)

The Tigers now possess a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pace Academy for a AAAA Region 5 battle on Monday, January 29. Stockbridge will confront a Knights team coming off a 59-52 league win over McDonough (McDonough, GA). The Knights record now stands at 13-4.

The Lions (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lovett (Atlanta, GA). The Lions come into the AAAA Region 5 battle with a 1-19 record. In their last battle, Lovett beat Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA), 40-20, in a non-league battle.
