Middleton Cardinals (Middleton, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Madison West Regents (Madison, WI), 85-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Middleton upgrades its record to 4-13 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Stoughton (Stoughton, WI) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Stoughton lost 70-41 in their recent non-league bout against Kettle Moraine (Wales, WI)

Next up, the Regents play the Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Madison West will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 49-40 non-league loss to Whitewater (Whitewater, WI).
