Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs (Brooklyn Park, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host New Life Academy Eagles (Woodbury, MN), 71-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Maranatha Christian Academy upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Mustangs host St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 12-7.

Next up, the Eagles play the Concordia Academy Beacons (Roseville, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. New Life Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Beacons go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 55-36 non-league loss to St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN).
