The Margaretta Polar Bears basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Vermilion Sailors to 19 in the Polar Bears league triumph on Friday.
The Polar Bears now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Fort for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Margaretta will battle a Stockaders team coming off a 45-38 league loss to Danbury (Lakeside, OH). The Stockaders record now stands at 8-8.
The Sailors (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH). The Redskins enter the Sandusky Bay - Bay contest with a 10-6 record.
