The Marinette Marines (Marinette, WI) basketball felled the visiting Oconto Falls Panthers (Oconto Falls, WI), 50-34 in Friday's league test.

The Marines (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Clintonville (Clintonville, WI). The Truckers go into the North Eastern test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Clintonville went down by Fox Valley Lutheran (Appleton, WI), 49-46, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Waupaca for a North Eastern test on Tuesday, January 30. Oconto Falls will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 42-30 league loss to Freedom (Freedom, WI). The Comets record now stands at 3-21.
