The McKenzie Rebels basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting McEwen Warriors to 62 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. McKenzie will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-42 league win over Adamsville (Adamsville, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.
The Warriors (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Houston County (Erin, TN). The Fighting Irish enter the 1A District 12 contest with a 6-8 record.
