The Michigan Center Cardinals basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Napoleon Pirates to 22 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leslie for a Cascades contest on Tuesday, January 30. Michigan Center will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 66-35 league win over Manchester (Manchester, MI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 9-3.

The Pirates (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Addison (Addison, MI). The Panthers enter the Cascades contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Addison was routed by Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI), 61-39, in a league contest.
