The Miller Grove Hornets basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the visiting Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy to 27 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 12-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy for a 1A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Miller Grove will battle a team coming off a 63-7 league loss to Miller Grove (Cumby, TX). The record now stands at 0-2.

The (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Dodd City (Dodd City, TX). The Hornets come into the 1A Region III District 23 contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Dodd City dropped by Neches (Neches, TX), 42-34, in a non-league contest.
