The Mound City Panthers (Mound City, MO) basketball knocked off the visiting North Andrew Cardinals (Rosendale, MO), 42-32 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (8-5) will now prepare for their test against DeKalb (DeKalb, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, DeKalb went down by Nodaway-Holt (Graham, MO), 62-26, in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host King City for a Grand River West outing on Tuesday, January 30. North Andrew will clash with a Wildkats squad coming off a 43-34 non-league loss to Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO). The Wildkats record now stands at 13-10.
