The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 18-5. Salem won 52-41 in their recent league challenge against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Newport will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 62-24 league win over White County Central (Judsonia, AR).
