In Friday's league outing, the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins (Springdale, AR) basketball squad nipped the host Mulberry Yellowjackets (Mulberry, AR), by a margin of 38-37.

The Griffins (12-11) will now prepare for their match against Thaden (Bentonville, AR). The Barnstormer enter the 1A Region 1 West match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Thaden nudged Mulberry (Mulberry, AR), 33-26, in a league match.

With the defeat, Mulberry moves to 11-12 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Decatur (Decatur, AR) to meet the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 1 West match on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-8.
