Ralls Jackrabbits (Ralls, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX), 32-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Ralls upgrades its record to 4-20 on the season. The Jackrabbits host Lockney (Lockney, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 2A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 1-22. Lockney lost 77-12 in their recent league bout against Floydada (Floydada, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. New Deal will attempt to upgrade on its 20-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-16 record after their 72-42 league loss to Sudan (Sudan, TX).
