The West Burlington Falcons basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting New London Tigers to 37 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Danville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. West Burlington will battle a Bears team coming off a 70-30 non-league win over Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Bears record now stands at 12-4.

The Tigers (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Burlington, IA). The Nikes enter the SEI - West contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame ran past Central Lee (Donnellson, IA), 54-34, in a league contest.
