The Pella Dutch basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Newton Cardinals to 44 in the Dutch league victory on Friday.
The Dutch now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indianola for a Little Hawkeye contest on Monday, January 29. Pella will battle a Indians team coming off a 55-51 league win over Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Indians record now stands at 5-11.
The Cardinals (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Nevada (Nevada, IA). The Cubs come into the non-league contest with a 9-8 record.
