Texas High School Basketball - Nixon-Smiley ripped by Randolph

The Randolph Ro-Hawks basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Nixon-Smiley Mustangs to 29 in the Ro-Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Ro-Hawks now sport a 18-14 record. They play next when they host Great Hearts Northern Oaks for a 3A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, January 30. Randolph will play a Griffins squad coming off a 46-38 league loss to Luling (Luling, TX). The Griffins record now stands at 1-10.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Nixon-Smiley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-23 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-20 record after their 51-27 league loss to Cole (San Antonio, TX).
