North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Halifax falls to Northampton County

January 26, 2024: Gaston, NC 27832

In Friday's league match, the host Northampton County Jaguars basketball team scored a good 48-33 triumph over the Northwest Halifax Vikings.

In their next game, the Jaguars meet the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 27. Northampton County will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 11-5 record after their 49-26 league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC).

With the defeat, Northwest Halifax moves to 12-4 on the year. The Vikings host Warren County (Warrenton, NC) to meet the Eagles in a 1A Tar Roanoke match on Wednesday, January 31. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-9.
