California High School Basketball - Oak Ridge fells Whitney

Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA), 51-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Oak Ridge upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Trojans host Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to play the Thunder in a Sierra Foothill League bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 13-10. Rocklin lost 61-53 in their recent non-league bout against Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Whitney will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record.
