In Friday's non-league outing, the Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Seminole Chieftains (Seminole, OK), by a count of 61-19.

The Panthers (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Oktaha (Oktaha, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 12-2 record. In their last outing, Oktaha smashed Vian (Vian, OK), 67-35, in a league outing.

The Chieftains now hold a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Prague for a 66 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Seminole will clash with a Red Devils squad coming off a 55-45 league loss to Holdenville (Holdenville, OK). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-9.
