Georgia High School Basketball - Union Grove crushes Ola

January 26, 2024: McDonough, GA 30252

Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA), 65-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Union Grove upgrades its record to 21-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Clarke Central (Athens, GA) to clash with the Gladiators in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Clarke Central lost 45-29 in their recent league bout against Loganville (Loganville, GA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Ola will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 17-5 record after their 55-53 league win over Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA).
