The Tri-County Penguins basketball team (Plainfield, WI), was overwhelmed 97-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Pacelli Cardinals (Stevens Point, WI)
The Cardinals now possess a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Almond-Bancroft for a Central Wisconsin - South battle on Monday, January 29. Pacelli will battle a Eagles team coming off a 52-19 league win over Rosholt (Rosholt, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.
The Penguins (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Montello (Montello, WI). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league battle with a 2-16 record. In their last battle, Montello was overwhelmed by Rio (Rio, WI), 60-48, in a league battle.
