North Carolina High School Basketball - Berry overwhelmed by Palisades

The Berry Cardinal basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 56-31 in Friday's league battle with the host Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC)

The Pumas now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Myers Park for a 4A South Meck battle on Tuesday, January 30. Palisades will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 60-48 non-league loss to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-1.

The Cardinal (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres come into the 4A South Meck battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, South Mecklenburg trounced Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 60-31, in a league battle.
