The Perth Amboy Vo-Tech Patriots basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Piscataway Vo-Tech Raiders to 39 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunellen for a Greater Middlesex - Gold contest on Monday, January 29. Perth Amboy Vo-Tech will battle a Destroyers team coming off a 29-19 league loss to Wardlaw Hartridge (Edison, NJ). The Destroyers record now stands at 11-5.

The Raiders (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against South Amboy (South Amboy, NJ). The Governors enter the non-league contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, South Amboy was defeated by Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ), 54-34, in a non-league contest.
