In Friday's league outing, the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS), by a margin of 56-27.

The Saints (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Puckett (Puckett, MS). The Wolves go into the 2A Region 6 outing with a 7-12 record. In their last outing, Puckett was trounced by Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS), 55-30, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pelahatchie for a 2A Region 6 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Raleigh will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 55-30 league win over Puckett (Puckett, MS). The Chiefs record now stands at 17-6.
