Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA), 71-10 in a league bout.

With the win, Roland-Story upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Norsemen host West Marshall (State Center, IA) to clash with the Trojans in a Heart of Iowa bout on Monday, January 29. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-6. West Marshall won 43-36 in their recent league bout against South Hamilton (Jewell, IA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA) in a Heart of Iowa bout, on Monday, January 29. Saydel will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 43-36 league loss to West Marshall (State Center, IA).
