The Thomasville Bulldogs basketball team (Thomasville, NC), was overwhelmed 54-7 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC)

The Hornets now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Davidson for a 1A/2A Central Carolina battle on Tuesday, January 30. Salisbury will confront a Dragons team coming off a 48-27 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Dragons record now stands at 7-11.

The Bulldogs (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers come into the 1A/2A Central Carolina battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, North Rowan trounced South Davidson (Denton, NC), 60-10, in a league battle.
