Oregon High School Basketball - Taft holds off Santiam Christian

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR) and the visiting Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR), saw Taft's basketball squad hold off Santiam Christian by a tally of 40-33.
With the victory, Taft improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, OR) to confront the Spartans in a 3A PacWest challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Sheridan lost 62-34 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson (Jefferson, OR)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Scio Loggers (Scio, OR) in a 3A PacWest challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Santiam Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Loggers come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 71-12 league loss to Amity (Amity, OR).
