The Shepaug Valley Spartans basketball team (Washington, CT), was overwhelmed 64-17 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT)
The Bears now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Milford for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 30.
The Spartans (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos come into the Berkshire battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Terryville was overwhelmed by Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT), 52-22, in a league battle.
