St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), 63-13 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Stephens upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Indians host North Iredell (Olin, NC) to play the Raiders in a 3A Western Foothills bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 13-5. North Iredell won 48-38 in their recent league bout against Foard (Newton, NC)

Next up, the Warriors play the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a 3A Western Foothills bout, on Tuesday, January 30. West Iredell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 48-38 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).
